1985 Porsche 928 S2

1985 928S currently in private collection. This is a European car that was originally delivered to Switzerland before coming to the U.S. and spending time in Washington, California, and Georgia.

This 928S is finished in Prussian Blue over blue leather interior and is showing 100,618 miles. Power comes from a 4.7 liter V8, rated at 310hp / 294 lb-ft torque, likely now increased by performance headers and a high flow cat. As a Swiss car this one has dual distributors (twin dizzy), higher compression ratio, and shorter gear ratio (33/13) than American-market examples.

A Mechanical Refurbishment was completed in 2016 at approximately 95,000 miles by Stan Kolen (Well-known Mr. Merlin in the Porsche 928 world) that included a top-end engine rebuild & valve job. The leather seating surfaces and door cards are believed to be original and are in good condition; the dash and some interior panels were re-trimmed by Stan during the refurbishment.

The factory 16-inch wheels are wearing continental tires [date code], the A/C is ice cold and a period Clarion head unit is fitted in the dash. A Clean CarFax report, service journal and factory tools accompany the car.
